Music Review

Smokie Norful ; Life Changing
SUBMITTED BY: Johnathan Dean
REVIEW: **** (4) knocks
RELEASE DATE: 2006

Why only 4 knocks? It is SMOKIE NORFUL!!!! The only reason I said 4 instead of 5 is because of the amount of usable material. Most of it is potentially usable for the church with a good band and good singers…especially a good male soloist or alto who can “not imitate” but represent Smokie’s material well.

This album contains many praise & worship songs and songs that could be used as youth choir music. The CD is a mix of black gospel, urban, and a couple of ballads. Smokie has great solo ballads that could be done for themed services or specials; however, a good soloist and keyboardist is a must.

All of that to say, anytime you see Smokie’s name, get the album. HE IS A SUPERNATURALLY GIFTED WONDER!
